10 Benefits To Sleeping Alone
Alone. As in by yourself. No sharing.
Total Bed Domination

- There is no “side.” You don’t have to: pick a side, stick to a side, have a side.
- No morning breath. You don’t have to smell any else’s and you don’t have to worry about yours.
- No trapped gases. You can fire at will under the covers. Conversely, you won’t get caught by surprise.
- No being disturbed by snoring/grinding/talking.
- You can toss and turn. The bed is your playground.
- You don’t have to worry about how gross you look/smell when you get sick.
- You can fling, become tangled, and grope covers as you like.
- You are Master Of Your Domain: YOU have control of the bedroom. Open the windows, dial up the electric blanket, play music YOU like. YOU are in control. As for other Domains…that’s between you and … you.
- No stress about being “too tired.”
- The only alarm that wakes you is your own.
Here are a few more:
-No trouble coordinating bedtimes
-No danger of picking non-matching clothes in the dark because someone is still asleep
-Nobody complains about eating in bed – if it bugs you, just don’t do it!
-Nobody to argue with about what sheets/comforter/etc. you’ll buy and use
I miss my wife when she visits family, but I enjoy all the things you and I both mentioned for a couple of weeks when she’s gone!
Hi, Andy – GOOD ONES! I’m a gal so had forgotten about arguing about bedclothes. I’m not into clothing my bed but can imagine there are differing tastes with respect to sheets, colors, types of mattresses.
I think it’s hilarious there is even the term “bedclothes.”
Thanks for the additions!
