What A Pisser!

Incheon Airport Womens' Restroom

I finally complete the first leg of my journey and land at Incheon. I’ll be in Seoul, South Korea for an hour. Just enough time to scope out what kinda bathrooms the airport has.

Remember, I warned you – you’re going to see what’s Behind The Stall Door in several locations around the world. It’s probably not a big deal for men. You guys don’t have to touch anything except yourself. I don’t know about other women, but for me, not touching parts of a public toilet would require strength, agility, and hopefully, a seat protector.

Besides, I’d been on a plane for over half a day – it’d be nice to go and clean up a little without having to pretzel myself into a locker with a big pee-sucking vacuum.

The Incheon bathrooms were quite nice – modern and clean. I was hoping to be discreet but a woman caught me taking photos. She gave me a sideways glance and said, “You’re taking photos…of the bathroom?”

I tried to keep a straight face and look very matter of fact.

No big deal. People do this all the time where I come from.

That’s the vibe I was shooting for.

I said, “Yes. People love this kinda thing. It’s Real Life.”

Another sideways glance and out she scurried. Now I had the bathroom to myself.

I’m thankful that the stall doors gave such great coverage. If anyone else had been in the bathroom they wouldn’t have been able to see the flash as I took a shot of the No Smoking sign.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long. I had a plane to catch.

    Hey, Rich – thanks for the welcome back! While I missed writing, it was very nice to take a break and totally get away. I wasn’t sure if I’d be up for posting right after I returned, but I did – the next day! I’ve been catching up on your posts. Too bad I can’t submit to your Carnival of Storytelling – no time! I am sure it will be great.
