The Scent Of A Woman

A girl will smell differently than a teenager.

A young woman’s scent is distinct from a teen’s.

A woman’s fragrance is distinguishable from any other time of her life.

Go to any popular mall. Pick a crowded time. You’ll discover what I mean.

Girls will smell of soap and something homey-sweet. You’ll think of cinnamon-sugar cookies and oddly enough, Play-Doh.

Teenage females have a sharp single-note scent.

A young woman smells like flowers and fruit, heavy on the fruit. This has less to do with nature and more to do with the available grooming products.

A young woman believes that smelling like strawberries, limes, papaya, mango and grapefruit will make her more appealing. Her clothes state: Look at me! Her scent says: You can’t avoid me!

A woman has her own unique fragrance. Some smell like soap and fresh laundry. Another will smell like sunscreen, sweat and dirt. Some will drench themselves in perfume.

I know very few women who wear perfume. They don’t need it. Most times, they can’t be bothered.

They smell like themselves.

A woman’s scent is like no other.

As a guy who walks in circles crowded by women I can tell you that this is true… at least in public it is true. Behind closed doors there is a far different smell!

When I walk into a bedroom to do a computer repair job I can tell right away, with my nose alone, what age and gender the occupant of the room is.

Many teenage boys dream of getting into a teenage girl’s room… Trust me on this one, you do not want to go there! Those frilly super-clean rooms you see in movies? They do not exist! Behind closed doors girls are just as bad (if not worse) than guys.

HMTKSteve: Wow. You sound like you have even more experience with how women of all ages smell in public.

I haven’t been in a teenage girl’s room. I believe you about the state they usually are in. I once had to use the restroom in a oxymoronically called Gentlemen’s Club. Yow! The restroom was located inside the “performers’” dressing room and yeeee-gods the mess.

Yes, Ms.Q plans to write about the experience some day. Further evidence that Ms. Q can be totally clueless at times. Or more times that she’d care to admit.

I think most men have had the experience of smelling a perfume somewhere and immediately thinking of “my old girfriend who…”
