Ms.Q Goes For A Visit

Published by MsQ at 8:35 am under Blogging, General, Mom

I’m not really here today. Nope.

Ms. Q has left QMusings for the day and is not thinking about airport restrooms, wine, or what’s stuck between her teeth.

Nope. Right now she’s hanging out with Pokemon, learning about video games and checking out The Stormtroopers.

I’m sipping my third and very good, very strong cup of coffee with HMTKSteve. Well, metaphorically sipping.

He’s a geek. I am assuming he drinks coffee. Writing that it’s strong is probably redundant.

Anyway, today’s post is over at Ramblings from the Marginalized.

If you’re interested in why my mom doesn’t like donuts and has a need for speed…check it out.

I read your guest post over at Ramblings from the Marginalized, and I found it to be very amusing. I just wanted to drop a comment on your blog to let you know that I enjoyed it. And now I’m going to go check out some of the posts on your site!

Derek Wong: thanks for letting me know and new people are always welcome. I just visited your site and see that you work with EDI.

Eeeek! I would guess that the numbers 837, 835, and 270 may mean something to you??

Hey, are you an ABC? I wrote a post on being an ABC

I read your post too. Now I’m here.

I’m in your site, reading your URLs… ;)

Haha oh yes, I love those numbers so much (along with 997, 277, and others). ;-)

If by ABC you mean American-Born Chinese then yes indeed I am. And I am possibly at a more extreme end of it because I identify much more with the American culture than with the Chinese one. Especially when they do things that make them Cheatin’ Chinese. :P

Derek: Yep, I meant are you an American-Born-Chinese.

I’m and ABC. When people ask me if I speak Chinese or if they actually start speaking Mandarin or Cantonese to me, I tell them I just look this way. I’m American!

I’m somewhat familiar with EDI and HIPAA. They are nail-in-the-eye fun!
