Beauty Through The Ages

Update:
I wrote this last night. This morning I woke up to yes, the clumping of my upstairs neighbors’ feet but also the rising chorus of birdsong.
Golden light filtered through my blinds, light playing with shadow. I lay in bed thinking about my bed, my home, and all it contains. I do love my home as much as anyone can be attached to things.
Yet my favorite thing about my home is the tree I have outside. The tree tells me when the wind in blowing, the tree softens the light that is cast against my windows, the tree is home to innumerable birds.
The tree hides me from my neighbors and they from me. That tree is beauty for my soul.
That’s a great video … and everyone needs to have a tree outsde their window!
