A Birthday Wish

Sunrise on the Plains

Today is the birthday of two men I know. Born on the same day, born in the same year.

This post is for both of them and for anyone who is celebrating their birthday today.

Day into night and night into day and what do we really desire when it all comes down to it?

We want to say to ourselves, Yes, I have lived.
We want to look into our hearts and know that Yes, I have loved.
We want to be held and feel and know that Yes, I am loved.
We all want in our own small way, in our short blip-in-time, to have made a difference.

Minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, day-by-day, year-by-year.

Night into day and day into night.

Sunset on Table Bay

Every moment we have we are given one more chance to change the world.

Make a wish. Blow out the candles.

Candle In the Dark
Know that you are loved.

The rest is up to you.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I wish it was my birthday. That is touching. To make it one day further is a blessing. And to make a difference is a success.

These two men are blessed to have a friend like Ms. Q

UT: That was touching of you to write! Thanks.

From the way you view the world and the thoughts you express, you are making a difference.

I am sure you are loved by not just what I think of as the Universal Spirit (some use other names but I like how it spells out “US” because we’re all in this together) but by more people than you know.

Based on how you speak about your mother, you also love. So you are making a difference, you are loved and you love.

Ricardo: I actually had no idea I was going to write this!

It began as an email and then I liked it so much I thought I would share it. I am glad you enjoyed it.
