Societies have laws.

What are laws?
Laws are a set of rules. You put a group of people together and after a while you end up with some rules.
Some examples of rules:

Thou shalt not murder.
Thou shalt not steal.
A yellow stoplight means proceed with caution.

There are written rules:

Stop Being So Nice
