I've see a few other bloggers do this and with entire new domains. The thing is losing all the history and old stories...I'm not so worried about the links and my ranking these days. I’ve been sooooo busy and I really want to spend some time on updating/upgrading my blog. Gack! I want to move to my top level domain and not this ~/blog subfolder as well.
