Between the Burgers and the Granny Panties
Yesterday mom gave me a call. She was asking me for a bit of Technical Support for her computer.
“I wrote something about our day together.”
“You did?”
“Yep. Even posted a few photos.”
“Hmmm. Let me check…”
“What do you think about the new look?”
“When did you take a photo of waves?”
“That’s not my photo.”
“Oh.”
“Anyway, I wrote about the burgers and the granny panties.”
“You did? Did you write about the bra?”
“Yeah, but that’s in the 2nd part along with the granny panties. So what do you think of the photos?”
“It’s me all right.”
“Yesterday was fun.”
“Yeah…Nice relaxed pace. No rushing….Did you write about YOUR bra?”
“No.”
“How come you always write about MY stuff ? I mean, why is it okay for you to write about my granny panties??”
Note: Mom doesn’t mind my writing about her. She would not care if I posted photos that actually showed her face. I’m the cautious one.
“Mom, writing about you shopping for panties is waaaay funnier than describing MY search for panties.”
“Hmm. You’re right.”
“Besides, it wasn’t about MY day; it was about you. I mean, you’re my mom and it was Mother’s Day.”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
hehehehe. Your mom is fun, I like her!
The title of the post alone is funny as… well… I know you’re G rated.
I like the fact that your mother knows that she is an interesting subject to write about. It’s like that fourth wall comes down (if there was a forth wall).
All too funny.
Sue: My mom can be a lot of fun and she is quite charming. I say “can” because I am her daughter and parent-child relationships can be pretty…complex! So complex in fact, that you can get a complex.
Sometimes I’m out with my mom and I’m tellin’ ya, my gasted be flabbered.
UT: Mom is well aware of the fact that she’s “a character”!!
I’ve managed to stay G-Rated despite including things like “Freaky Shit” and “ass” and “crap.”
If someone out there thinks that burgers and granny panties are related to anything beyond a G-rating…inneresting.
Well all things being equal, you can always devote a segment about your bra. It would be in the interest of equal time. But I must agree that it is far more entertaining to read about your mothers shopping adventures.
Ricardo: I may write about my own bra-buying adventures and have actually had one in mind for almost a year. I have a lot of post ideas and electronic “scribblings.” I should probably write it based on all the current bra and breast-related blogging that has been going on!
Stuff always happens when mom’s around.
