We all want to be perfect or define perfection and it reminds me of the metaphor of a river something about a river is never the same river at any moment in time. But it's still a river. It also makes me think about how we are so unaware of ourselves and the present. We don't appreciate what we have now. I look at old photos of myself and think, dang, I was really cute! But I didn't think so...I mean, not totally. I've heard people say similar things about how they really didn't appreciate what they had and it's only in reflecting that they realize how lucky they were. alistair: yes, all can be is who we are.
