HMTKSteve: I have to floss. I mean, it's for my health and personally, I want to keep my teeth and then there is the thought that there is stuff between my teeth that is well, rotting! Blaaagggh. I mean, there's morning breath which, if you're healthy, have no digestive issues and are well hydrated, is usually just the result of no airflow.

But I'm thinking that if you're prone to morning breath, it would be much worse without flossing!!

Regarding the toothbrushes and having cases of them - I agree with you. I have maybe half a dozen and that's because I get them a couple on sale and then my mom gives me the "freebie" she gets when she gets her teeth cleaned and then I get my freebie when I get my teeth cleaned. Plus you have to change 'em every what, couple of months and I have one in a purse and one at work so...backups!

Ricardo: Yes!

I can't stress how important flossing is. This is the proof right here!

I have to floss one side of my mouth after brushing. For some reason the toothbrush just does not get in close enough to the gum line and I always have a small amount of debris right by the gums.

I still floss after eating but these three or four teeth just never get clean enough after brushing...

I mention the case of brushes because it might mean he does the "every date is a first date" thing and keeps the supply so that when he brings a new girl home each night there will always be a fresh brush waiting for her. The other alternative is that he is OCD.

Jill: I dunno - even with nicely spaced teeth, not flossing? It just seems like One Of Those Things you just gotta do. Then again, Regular Exercise seems like One Of Those Things but maybe it's me.

Sugar probably took your toothbrush. Which makes for a whacked sentence but for those who don't know - Sugar is a CAT.

UT: I figgered you're response would be an "Eeewww..." you just give me the impression that you're all about staying healthy and know that flossing is part of that! You floss between meals? Dang.

I can just imagine you reading the snacks-leftovers line!

I actually floss first then brush but took a little "poetic license" with the post - it makes for a better story and of course, there is the fact that we weren't romantically involved! Good thing, too, what with the No Floss In Dah House thing.

I think I will write a followup post about the entire brush-floss order of things.

LOL... Leftovers? Snacks for later? Yo... You know I had to read that over and was saying to myself "uh ok... ewww."

I know some people who don't use floss. I didn't understand why that was and never have. Even when I was younger I made my own floss. It sounds strange but any plastic would do as long as it was thin.

But this day in age I know teeth are important. I'm flossing every day between meals. But I thought you were suppose to floss prior to brushing? Is it after you brush that you are suppose to floss?
