I like that word. Persnickety.
I like it because it sounds like what it means: “Particularly nit-picky.”
Anyway, I’m back in Seattle. I’m tucked into your standard consultant cubicle: bad office chairs, spare computer parts (a monitor and keyboard) and dusty desktops.
I’m working away on my laptop and hear: snikt-snikt-snikt.

Have you ever noticed that if a man has a scar on his face, it will be found in one of the following locations?

Eyebrow
Outer corner of eyebrow
Just under the chin
In the “dent” between the lower lip and the chin
Outer edges of forehead
Somewhere close to the lips (the corner of mouth [...]

I should be deliriously happy.

I’m in a state that is known for fantastic coffee and wonderful wine.
Interestingly, it’s also known for something else. A high suicide rate.
Hmmmmm.
OK, so it’s also known for RAIN. I was surprised to learn it’s known to be the birthplace of Grunge. I don’t know much about Grunge.
