Totally Trivial Thursday

Published by MsQ at 4:39 pm under General, QMusements

You can file this under “Better Than Nothing” if you want.

Not that I actually put my feet up at work

But Urban Thought mentioned he had a passion for sneakers.

I doubt these will give Urban uhmm… Sneaker Satisfaction since these aren’t particularly cool looking.

But they ARE funny and they put a smile on my face.

Matching Funny Socks

What do YOU wear that puts a smile on your face?

Oh Ms. Q… Those are some cute kicks. I must say I actually like them and the color too.

UT: glad you like ‘em! I’m taking that to mean I’m actually stylish what with my impression that you’re up on the latest looks being in NYC and all. I actually thought it might be fun if you posted some images of your sneakers at the places you frequent.

Kinda your UT version of “Olga the Traveling Bra” except your sneakers at a bar, your sneakers on the subway…

My guess is that your sneakers would dwarf my sneakers.

Hmmm…. You’ve got me thinking. Summer is a long season. I think I can work that out.

I have a pair of red, patent leather, 4 inch heels that I wear on occasion. They are a bit painful to dance in, but they are HOT.

When my wife first started selling stuff on eBay she got a strange request.

Some guy had won an auction for a pair of shoes. He started asking how worn they were…

Come to find out the guy had some weird foot/shoe fetish and he was asking for my wife to wear the shoes for a few days before sending them and to take pictures of her naked feet in the shoes…

Let’s not overlook the pretty hip socks you’re sporting …

  7. Urban Thoughton 09 May 2008 at 11:44 am

Oh… The socks are nice. Don’t know how I missed that the first time. Is your foot a size three?

Christine: There is something to be said about wearing HOT shoes! I do have some high heels (although nothing like 4″!) and when I put on a little black dress (or this long silk one), yep, I have that “tsss! Can’t touch this!” feeling. So..photos! photos!

HMTKSteve: That sounds familiar, didn’t you write a post about that? Either that or that particular fetish is practically normal!

delmer: thanks! A friend gave me those. Those are my “dressy sport socks.”

UT: Glad you also like the socks. No, my foot is a size 5! They used to be a 4.5 and like my mom said, your feet do get bigger when you get older (flatten out!). She also used to have a 4.5 sized foot then a 5 and now a 5.5. I run in size 5.5 shoes though.

Those particular sneakers make my feet look smaller. Not that they are all that big.

And yes, I hope you manage to post “Here be my Red High Tops with the ladies at the bar..” and “Here by my Air [some Nike brand] at work…”

Love those shoes! I think they are cute.

What do I wear that makes me smile? Ha haaa!!! That’s funny in itself. I guess just about anything would be the answer … foil hats? Ever wear a foil hat Ms Q?? ;-)

: I agree with you - those shoes aren’t HOT - I find them hilarious. I feel like a kid in them, like I should be wearing crayon colors and shirts with plastic buttons shaped like rainbows and butterflies or whatever little girls wear these days…Hello Kitty and Pokemon??

You bathing suit may very well be HOT which is why hubby doesn’t want you wearing it out in public!!
